Welcome to Executive Function Coaching

As someone with ADHD, I am no stranger to executive function challenges, which is why I have chosen to devote part of my practice to helping others—whether they have an ADHD diagnosis or not—who experience similar challenges in their daily lives. Because executive dysfunction isn’t limited to neurodiverse populations. Anyone can experience challenges with the cognitive processes related to planning, organization, time management, and self-regulation.

As an executive function coach, I emphasize compassion, connection, and collaboration. The coaching relationship is a partnership, so we will work together to develop personalized strategies that not only play to your unique strengths but also help you overcome challenges in the areas of executive function that are most important to you. Here some topics we might explore in our sessions:

  • Self-Awareness: Understanding your own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors..

  • Self-Regulation: managing your thoughts, emotions, and actions to achieve your goals and stay in control, even in challenging situations.

  • Planning & Prioritizing: figuring out what tasks need to be done, deciding the order of importance, and creating a clear plan to accomplish them.

  • Time Management: organizing and using your time effectively to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Task initiation: starting tasks promptly and without procrastination.

  • Attention: focusing on tasks and maintaining concentration without getting easily distracted.

  • Working Memory: holding onto information temporarily while you're thinking about something else or completing a task.

  • Organization: keeping things in order so you can find them easily and complete tasks efficiently.

  • Cognitive Flexibility: adapting your thinking and switching between tasks or ideas when needed.

  • Metacognition: knowing how you think and learn, which helps you plan, monitor, and adjust your strategies to improve your problem-solving and learning outcomes.

By building competence and confidence in these areas, I empower clients to take charge of their lives. So, if you are ready to thrive in a complex world filled with competing demands and distractions, schedule a free consultation today!
